  i sure some of you brits; will be more than glad to inform the gov't about the great charity work done by the wts in britian. here's your chance. who knows those printing presses the wt moved from france to britian , could be possiblly be moved into the alantic ocean . here they would make a great reef for fish . john

  Why this is not xjw forum

  i used to wonder why with so many xjws on here ,or nearly xjws on this forum ,why it was not named so .

  that way we would not have so many troll's and practicing jws come on this site looking for people in their own religion ( cough ) .

  now when i see a newbie join and they are practicing jws ,i think maybe just maybe by them not knowing most here are out of the cult and they read the threads posted by so many knowing and knowledgable people on the forum ,that some may log off and actually think of some things that have seen.

  it's funny there was a thread about farkel the other day . and posters that have not posted in years came to the front. then you get all the jw or x jw's that post for the first time and say they have been reading this site for months or years. even me i mostly read . there is more action here than meets the EYE....   I don't know if this would be considered a "scandal" per se...

  for the first time in as many years as i can remember they moved the district convention from the large pacific national exhibition centre (pne), and divided the convention into 2 parts and all the jws in the area are assigned to go 4 hours north of here, get accommodations etc.. they came out with this back when i was *just* leaving the org.

  i asked my jw friend and the comment back from her was that they hadn't been able to book the pne and so everyone was doing this.

  i think that's a load of crap...they've moved the assembly weekend before when they've had the weekend they wanted booked, and to another weekend.

  all the wt has to do is pull some verses out of the bible about the FAST and apply them to the conventions . problem solved. with jw's passing out all over the place after day 2. call it suffering for jehoover... john

  Nassau Colisseum contract with Society under threat

  just heard from a friend who attends a cong.

  in long island - the elder said that the dubs should not buy food outside the colisseum (there is a mcdonalds nearby) as the contract the society has with nassau would be under threat.. this seems to be a new phenomenon - are the vendors putting extreme pressure on them to let them sell food?.

  the gap between the morning and afternoon sessions is called an intermission.

  i noticed for nyc they have days and days 2-3 hours ways in monroe n.y. who the hell who lives in n.y.c . wants to drive to and from monroe n.y. three days in a row. my cheap dad will never get a motel but come home at midnight just to leave at 5 a.m. the next day with a car load of jw's that willnot even pay the raod tolls. my family calls dad the hall shuttle. and he next to never gets invited to and jw' parties john

  tall texan very interesting they were renting the astro dome for free! i bet they wer asking for donation from the jw's to cover the cost of the rent etc. let me know if i'm right the org allways has a way to say there short of $ for using the arena. sounds like a double dip. by the way any other parking scandels out there . i'm sure there most be more than the tocoma dome... john

  this cvhicken story ; reminds me about the stories the wt used to write about , some poor african woman that would walk , for 6 days through the swamps and , dodge lions, crocs etc just to get to the convention. talk about butting guilt on jw's that live in the western world about missing the convention. may blondie can post some of these gems... john
